Granite Asia Expands into Private Credit with Roger Zhang as Credit Solutions Partner

SINGAPORE – May 2, 2024 Granite Asia, Asia’s leading multi-asset investment platform, announced today that Roger Zhang has joined the firm as Credit Solutions Partner, reporting to Senior Managing Partners Jenny Lee and Jixun Foo. Based in Singapore, Roger will be responsible for co-managing Granite Asia’s credit solution offerings including investment strategy, fundraising, and general operations.

Roger was previously with Blackstone Credit where he was a Managing Director, involved in the origination and execution of credit investments across the capital structure in Asia. Before that, Roger was the Head of Private Debt Asia at Partners Group and responsible for senior and mezzanine debt investments in private equity sponsor-backed companies across Asia-Pacific.

Prior to Partners Group, Roger worked for Goldman Sachs, Ashland Partners, and Ernst & Young. Roger holds an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree of Economics from Shanghai University of Finance & Economics.
